The Inspiration Behind This Prayer Candle
We started going to the Traditional Latin Mass when we moved to California three years ago, the first time we were a little lost but we still fall in love with it, so solemn and reverent and we have been going ever since. At the end of the mass after the dismissal the Priest reads the Gospel of John, I found this to be a beautiful way to end Mass, a reminder that Jesus is the beginning and the end, He became flesh for us and He dwells among Us and in Us baptized christians.
In the first chapter of his Gospel, St. John provides an account of the divinity of Jesus, we meditate in his divinity, his greatness and God's love for us who has sent his only Son as the Savior of the world to take away our sins. We also find this words in the Angelus, three times a day at 6am, 12pm and 6pm we paused for a couple of minutes to meditate on the words that set our salvation in motion.

- Cut the wick before first use to 1/4"
- When lightning the candle, leave it to burn for 2 or 3 hours, until all the wax has melted on the surface to avoid tunneling.
- Trim the wick after each use with a wick trimmer to a 1/4"
- Keep candle away from draft, and wind
- Do not burn for more that 4 hours at a time
- Do not blow on the candle please cover or use a candle snuffer
