When we began creating our line of Catholic prayer candles, we knew St. Joseph would be one of the first we honored. His quiet strength, humility, and unwavering faith have always held a special place in our hearts—especially mine.
As an artisan myself, I feel a deep connection to St. Joseph. He was a carpenter, a laborer, a man who worked with his hands in silence and dedication. In a world that often celebrates loud achievements, St. Joseph reminds us of the quiet holiness in showing up, doing the work, and protecting what matters most.
And when I look at my husband, I see that same spirit. He is my St. Joseph—steady, loving, always working behind the scenes to support and strengthen our family and our mission. It was this love, this shared devotion, that inspired us to create the Most Chaste Heart of St. Joseph Candle.
The scent we chose for this candle is wood and lilies. Wood, because Joseph was a carpenter—a builder in both trade and fatherhood. And lilies, because they are a symbol of his purity, his role as the most chaste spouse of Mary, and the spiritual father of Jesus.
It’s the kind of candle my husband lights when he sits out on the balcony in the evening, cigar in hand, letting the gentle scent and soft flame invite peace and reflection.
We believe all men should look to St. Joseph as a model—not just of masculinity, but of holiness. He shows us what it means to protect, to lead with love, to listen quietly for God’s voice and respond with obedience.
If you haven’t read or prayed with the Consecration to St. Joseph by Father Donald Calloway, we wholeheartedly recommend it. It’s a powerful journey that invites you to place your life, your family, and your vocation under St. Joseph’s protection. Every home, every heart, every man should know and love him.
St. Joseph has not one, but two feast days in the Church calendar:
-
March 19: Solemnity of St. Joseph, Husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary
-
May 1: St. Joseph the Worker
He is the patron of the Universal Church, workers, fathers, husbands, families, homebuyers, and a happy death, among many others. His intercession is powerful, and his example is one of strength rooted in silence and deep trust in God.
This candle was created from that place of love and reverence. It’s a simple, sacred tribute to a man who changed the course of salvation history with his "yes" to God.
Whether you light it as a prayer for your own husband or father, or as a reminder to walk in Joseph’s footsteps, we hope it brings peace to your heart and warmth to your home.
