The Story behind the Inspiration
After my husband converted to the catholic faith, I gift him a plaque with this prayer, he wasn't very familiar with the saints back then and this was his first interaction, St. Theresa of Avila. Even until this day after 5 years of his conversion, he prays this prayer every morning and night since he has it by his bedside. This is one of the most comforting prayers and is one we should all meditate on. If you are feeling stress, hopeless or you don't see a way out this prayer will bring you peace to remind you and reassure that God loves and power surpasses all things, you just need to have Him in your life and everything else will find its place and that God alone suffices, he is the only one that can fill that void, only him.
How To Pray With This Candle:
- Have your candle blessed by your Priest.
- Shut off your phone and all distractions and set at least 15 minutes to meditate.
- Seat in a quite place and put yourself in the presence of God
- Light the candle, read and meditate on its words.
- Keep a journal to right what Gods speaks to your heart.
- You can also use "Lectio Divina" to pray and meditate.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR CANDLES
- Cut the wick before first use to 1/4"
- When lightning the candle, leave it to burn for 2 or 3 hours, until all the wax has melted on the surface to avoid tunneling.
- Trim the wick after each use with a wick trimmer to a 1/4"
- Keep candle away from draft, and wind
- Do not burn for more that 4 hours at a time
- Do not blow on the candle please cover or use a candle snuffer
